LEAD MINING FINISHED AT LAST!
Sometime during the week of June 15, the lead mining efforts [which had begun on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Cedar Falls Gun Club] ended. Those huge, blue tarp-covered mounds of dirt that sat all winter to the north of the trap lines began dwindling and now are finally gone. The Iowa State Trapshooting Association and the Cedar Falls
Gun Club will be sharing the profit from this endeavor.
